                     Clinical Supervision

 

 

Dr. Elez currently offers supervision to psychologists, clinicians in the process of registration with the BC College of Psychologists, Marriage and Family Therapists and Registered Clinical Counsellors. She practices from an integrative systemic supervision model with a special emphasis on issues of diversity in therapy and supervision.

 

Over the course of her work, Dr. Elez has provided support to a number of excellent Couple and Family Therapists, Clinical Counsellors and Psychologists. She has had the honour to witness these clinicians grow in professional competence, increase personal confidence and become valued members of multiple mental health professions. Since 2004, Dr. Elez has taught and supervised both in university and in private practice settings. In addition, she taught doctoral level students, on their journey of becoming clinical supervisors, in the Clinical Psychology program at Adler University in Vancouver, BC.

 

Dr. Elez is an Approved Supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and an Approved Supervisor of the Canadian Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (CAMFT). She is fully accredited to provide supervision to therapists working towards the designation of Clinical Fellow with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and/or towards the designation of a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist with the Canadian Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
